In 2021 I decided to do a complete career change and become a VC (talk about a plot twist!). I was on a mission to uncover the real tea as to why certain founders get the bag. You know the type - fancy schools, connections for days and the ability to sweet-talk their way into millions with just a doodle on a napkin.
Rubbing shoulders with Europe's VC elite, I had the opportunity to learn from the best and after speaking with 300+ founders and working on multiple deals, I finally had that “AHA” moment. Biases exist in VC but plot twist…there was something even bigger missing - something major!
The problem is most founders without the "right" network or background were missing it entirely. I had to know for sure if I had cracked the code. So after joining a VC fund, I put my theory to the test. The results were absolutely fire! 🔥🔥🔥
